AppalNet
What is it?
AppalNet is your online connection to campus--a connection you will use throughout your career at Appalachian. Use your Appalachian Email Account to log into AppalNet where you can check and send email, register for classes, check your financial aid status, get news and personal announcements, review your class schedule and grades, review your appcard balances, communicate with your professors, pay your student account bill, view transcripts, and more.
How do I use it?
Click on the AppalNet icon ( 
) - you can find it on MyASU (the resource site for faculty, staff, and students) or on the Appalachian Homepage. Then log in with your Appalachian Email Account's username and password.
- Username: Your official Appalachian username is your last name and initials (smithab)
- Password: A random number is initially assigned. You are required to change the password when you first log in. Forgot your password? Contact the Help Desk at 828-262-6266.
When will I get my username and password?
You will receive your username and password in the mail at your home address about 2 weeks after you receive your admission decision letter.
