Getting Involved

Life beyond the classroom is about more than having fun (although there's plenty of that too). It's your chance to make an impact. How do you think those 300 organizations got started? It was someone's idea. They made it happen. And so can you.

Student Organizations - Just about any interest you can think of, you'll find it among Appalachian's student organizations.

  • Leadership and Service Residential Learning Community - Live with other students who are interested in wellness, leadership and service.
  • Conferences - Attend one of the annual student conferences that focus on leadership.
  • Classes - For classes that focus on leadership, visit Leadership Opportunities.
  • Library - On the second floor of the student union, the Leadership Library includes books, magazines, as well as video and audio materials on the topic.
