There is no better way to learn about Appalachian than to visit us. Although you are welcome to visit our campus anytime, we encourage you to consider the visiting during Open House or scheduling a campus tour to ensure that you have a successful and enjoyable visit to Appalachian.

Campus Tours
Campus tours are hosted by the Appalachian Student Ambassadors. Plan to allow approximately two hours for your visit which will include a multi-media presentation highlighting the area, the campus, and our students; a discussion of admission criteria; a walking campus tour; and opportunities to meet with University representatives. Tours are available throughout the year except for holidays and University breaks.

- Tour size is limited for the benefit of the visitors. Be sure to register at least a week in advance.
- Group Tours are available for groups larger than six people. Group tours are only offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- To schedule a tour in Spanish, please contact Karen Binger at bingerkn@appstate.edu or 828-262-2120 at least two weeks prior to your visit. We can schedule most Spanish tours on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons.
